Final Meeting On Redesign Of Love Park To Be Held Tuesday

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The process to redesign the city's iconic Love Park has begun, and Philadelphians are invited to weigh in on the plans.

A public meeting is slated for Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 5:30 p.m. at the central branch of Philly's Free Library.

Back in December, first deputy parks commissioner Mark Focht told KYW Newsradio that tomorrow's meeting would include a summary of the process.

"In the third week of January, we will have a final meeting that presents all of the input we've received, including what we'll hear [at the December meeting], and introduces the design team, the project team that's been selected to actually take people's ideas and concepts from broad ideas into design," he said.

The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. with a sign in, then runs from 6 – 8 p.m. You can pre-register for the event here.
