Feast Of The Seven Fishes Served In South Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - An Italian tradition was celebrated throughout the region Thursday. And a very tasty one at that.

Scannicchio's Italian Restaurant in South Philly was one place that prepared the Feast of the Seven Fishes.

Co-owner Christian Varalli explains the significance:

"It signifies the seven miracles of Jesus that he performed over it. There is no set fish that is done."

The restaurant took over 100 reservations Christmas Eve.

A lot of people are already making reservations for next year.
