FBI Seeks Alleged Serial Bank Robber

By Walt Hunter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The FBI is hoping the public will help track down a serial bank robber who has held up the Police and Fire Federal Credit Union, in the 7600 block of City Avenue, three times during a four-month span in 2013.

In all three of the robberies, the suspect presented threatening "demand notes," gesturing to indicate he had a gun.

The FBI says the suspect sometimes has a scraggly goatee, may have acne or bumps on his face, and has worn different hats, including a black Chicago White Sox baseball cap with white "Sox" lettering.

The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for the suspect who they describe as "armed and dangerous." Anyone with information should call the FBI at 215-418-4000.
