PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --  Police are asking for the public's help to identify and find a suspect wanted in connection with a homicide in West Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Police say it happened around 7:45 p.m. December 16. Police were called to the 4600 block of Kingsessing Avenue where authorities say they found the victim, 34-year-old Mark Marshall, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigators say just before the shooting, Marshall was at 47th and Chester Avenue when a male got out of an older model Dodge or Chrysler minivan, possibly silver and approached the victim. Police say an argument ensued, and the male followed Marshall and then allegedly shot him several times.

Anyone with information is asked to call 215-686-TIPS. And police say tipsters can remain anonymous.
