PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The family of the first female firefighter to die in the line of duty in Philadelphia has filed a lawsuit against 30 equipment manufacturers.

Joyce Craig died in December 2014 fighting a house fire on Middleton Street in the West Oak Lane section of the city.

It also seeks damages in excess of $50,000.
