Family Members: Body Discovered In Creek Confirmed To Be Missing Delaware County Boy

FOLCROFT, Pa., (CBS) -- Family members tell CBS 3 Eyewitness News they were told by officials the body discovered Wednesday in Darby Creek is that of 11-year-old Laquan Lattimore, who has been missing since Monday.

Folcroft Police, along with the FBI and county detectives, were searching for Lattimore, who has been missing since 3 p.m. Monday.

Authorities say he was last seen in the area of King Avenue and Chester Pike on his bicycle.

"We are hurting, we are just in so much pain," said Lattimore's cousin on Wednesday.

His family has been searching for him for days and offered a reward for information.

Late Wednesday afternoon, authorities discovered a body in a creek, a few miles from the boy's home.

There's no word on a cause of death.
