Family Hopes Billboard Helps Lead To An Arrest 1 Year After Deadly Hit-Run

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- One year ago today, Theresa Pozzi was killed in a hit-and-run accident on State Road in Northeast Philadelphia.

On Wednesday, her family gathered for the unveiling of a billboard that they hope helps lead to an arrest and conviction.

One year after the accident, Anna Pozzi is still seeking justice for her daughter. She hopes the billboard rattles somebody's memory.

"We're hoping that once people see this billboard with her picture and everything, maybe they can reflect back to this time last year and a memory will trigger through."

Theresa was hit by an older model, dark colored tow truck during rush hour, but investigators know little else about the incident.

John Apeldorn with the Citizen's Crime Commission says there is $15,000 reward available.

"They can call our number and remain anonymous. It's 215-546-TIPS. Call you don't have to give your name."
