Family Displaced By House Fire In West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- An early morning fire forced a family from their home in West Philadelphia.

Flames broke out shortly after 12:30 a.m. Saturday at a home along the 4100 block of Ogden Street in the city's Belmont section.

Three people inside were able to escape the home safely.

Firefighters placed the blaze under control a short time later.

No one was injured.

There was no word on what caused the fire.

The Red Cross was providing temporary shelter for the displaced family.
