Expert: U.S. Should Pause The Flow Of Refugees

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --  A Philadelphia-based national security expert says the U.S. should hit the pause button on the flow of Syrian refugees into the country until it gets enough information to properly screen them.
Edward Turzanski, Co-Chairman for the Study of Terrorism at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, says the country's national intelligence director and FBI director recently conceded the government doesn't possess all the information it needs to make decisions about those seeking entry into the U.S.

"It makes no sense to move expeditiously to bring in refugees when there are open questions in Europe.  And, I think in terms of our own procedures as to whether everything that should have been done has been done to make absolute certain that there aren't ISIS sympathesizers or even operatives in that body of people," Turzanski told KYW Newsradio.

And, despite the President's protests, Turzanski says Congress does have the right to question the Obama Administration's policies.
