New Exhibit Featuring The Presidential Election Process Opens At NCC

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A new interactive display at the National Constitution Center opens Friday timed with President's Day weekend, the 2016 election and the Democratic National Convention.

The new exhibit is called 'Headed to the White House' and is geared for everyone, ages 8 to 80, says Sarah Winski with the National Constitution Center.

"It's all about the Presidential election process, the history, the constitutional aspects of it, and everything that goes into it," said Winski.

Winski says it's an interactive way to highlight everything that goes into an election from candidacy to inauguration.

"You get to come in and be a candidate, and figure out what your message is, what you want your image to be as a candidate."

The exhibit runs until November's election week.

"It's a celebration of our democratic process and how the Constitution really works," said Winski.
