By Walt Hunter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The manhunt is on for a pair of armed home invaders who burst into a Northeast Philadelphia apartment, terrorizing and robbing the 20-year-old woman sleeping inside, who was repeatedly sexually assaulted as she was dragged from room to room.

Lt. Anthony McFadden of the Philadelphia Police Department's Special Victims Unit called the attack, in which the woman was held captive for four hours, "horrifying."

"It's very frightening, very horrifying," Lt. McFadden said.

Lt. McFadden says police are searching for two Black males, both wearing jeans, the first 5 feet 11 inches tall, unshaven, tattoos on his neck, in his mid 20's to mid 30's. The second attacker 5 feet, 9 inches tall, thin build, clean shaven, mid 20's to mid 30's.

Special Victims Unit investigators spent hours, along with Crime Scene technicians, searching through the victim's apartment Monday.

In exclusive reports broadcast on CBS 3 at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., CBS 3's Walt Hunter spoke with neighbor Dan Scott who said the attacks are causing real concerns for nearby residents.

"It's concerning. I mean I have young kids around, and we're always around the neighborhood. No one ever wants to hear anything like that," he said.

Police want anyone with information to call the Special Victims Unit.
