Evan Turner Compares Himself To Jesus

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- One could argue that the Sixers' 2010 No. 2 overall pick, Evan Turner, set this whole "tanking" thing into motion.

Turner never lived up to his expectations and was traded the Pacers last season. Now with the Celtics, Turner returned to Philadelphia on Monday night, and despite receiving love and signing autographs before the game, Turner was treated by the fans to a chorus of boos upon stepping on the floor.

"Once the game started, it was like, 'what the hell is going on?'" Turner said via SportingNews.com. "I was like, 'this is weird. Did they take all the good people out?"

And then, the kicker.

"I don't worry about it anymore," Turner continued. "I don't want to sound super weird, but Jesus was hated too."

Poof. Mind = blown.
