Eric Rowe, Byron Maxwell With Impressive Week 6 Performances

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Eric Rowe and Byron Maxwell shutdown A.J. Green and Antonio Brown, respectively, in Week 6. Seriously, they did.

First off, we'll start with Maxwell, who was Pro Football Focus' 10th highest rated overall player in Week 6 and second highest rated cornerback. Maxwell, who Howie Roseman traded to the Miami Dolphins after re-taking over personnel duties, held Brown to just three catches for 23 yards on five targets.

Maxwell, who has struggled early in the season, had four pass breakups during the game and allowed a passer rating of just 58.9 when targeted.  The Dolphins upset the Steelers 30-15.

Rowe, another former Eagles corner Roseman traded this offseason, saw his first action this season for the Patriots. Up against Bengals star wide receiver A.J. Green, Rowe allowed just 1 completion on 9 passing plays including an end zone pass breakup.

Rowe, a second round pick of the Eagles in 2015, was traded for a 2018 fourth-round pick.
