Young Entrepreneurs Promote Business Ideas While Driving In An Uber SUV

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - You've heard of an elevator pitch, but what about an Uber pitch?

Aspiring entrepreneurs got a chance to pitch their business ideas to potential investors while driving around in an Uber SUV.

Drexel University senior Tushar Soni is a computer science major. He also is a teacher assistant. He was allotted 10 minutes in the Uber SUV to pitch "auto grader" to venture capitalist Chris Fralic -- a Partner at First Round Capitol.

"Auto grader" is a computer automated grading system.

"So the way auto grader works is that it replaces all of the manual grading that the teacher assistants like me have to go through," Soni explains.

Finalists will have two days to create a pitch deck to submit to a panel of investors.
