Emu Captured After Running Through Streets In North Jersey

PATERSON, N.J. (CBS) -- An emu on the lam was captured in North Jersey. The bird had been running through the streets of Paterson, Passaic County.

The emu, which is about 4 feet tall, is now at a shelter. Officials are now sure where it came from.

Animal control officials said the emu is healthy but in need of a bath.
