PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - On today's APP-tastic and outta SITE - Elevate.

It takes something special to be named Apple's app of the year - but elevate managed to capture the crown in 2014.

Elevate is a brain training program that's meant to improve your productivity and self-confidence through a series of over 25 games.

There's a lot of skepticism about the effectiveness of brain training games, but if you're going to check one out, this is your best bet.
