Election results for New Jersey governor, Philadelphia DA and more 2025 races

CBS News Philadelphia

New Jersey voters selected Democrat Mikie Sherrill to be their next governor this Election Day, and several local races were also on the ballot in the Garden State.

In Philadelphia, incumbent Larry Krasner defeated Pat Dugan, a former judge, to win his third term as the city's top prosecutor.

Pennsylvania voters also decided to retain three Supreme Court justices, keeping the court's Democratic majority.

Polls closed at 8 p.m. in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with one exception: Polls in Chester County, Pennsylvania, stayed open until 10 p.m. because of poll book issues earlier in the day.
