Elderly Woman Critically Injured After Being Hit By Car In Hainesport

HAINESPORT, N.J, (CBS) – Authorities are investigating after an elderly woman was struck by a vehicle in Hainesport, Burlington County.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 2400 block of Marne Highway.

New Jersey State Police say the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The striking vehicle remained at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
