Elderly Man Struck, Killed In Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – An elderly man is dead after he was struck by a pickup truck Saturday night in the Rawnhurst neighborhood of Philadelphia.

This happened around 9 p.m. on the 8100 block of Bustleton Avenue.

The 74-year-old victims was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead just after 9:30 p.m.

According to police, the driver of the vehicle did remain on the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
