Elderly Man Duct Taped By Armed Suspect During North Philly Home Invasion

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say a 70-year-old man was duct taped by a man with a gun who entered his home in the Fairhill section of Philadelphia Sunday night.

This happened around 7:45 p.m. on the 3000 block of North Howard Street.

Police say the victim answered the door after the suspect knocked, then was pushed inside and duct taped by the suspect, who then stole a Schwinn bike from the victim.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a black man who was wearing a black mask and a black hoody with a white stripe down the sleeves.

The incident remains under investigation.
