Eagles, VP Of Player Personnel Tom Gamble Agree To Part Ways

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Eagles and Tom Gamble, Vice President of Player Personnel, have agreed to part ways, the team announced Wednesday.

"We thank Tom for his service over the past two seasons and wish him and his family the best as they move forward," said Howie Roseman, Eagles General Manager in a statement. "I appreciate all Tom has done for our scouting department and our team."

Gamble was hired as Vice President of Player Personnel in February 2013.

Gamble spent the previous eight years with the San Francisco 49ers, including the last two years as Director of Player Personnel. He originally entered the NFL as an assistant in the Eagles personnel department in 1988.

His father, Harry Gamble, was once president of the Eagles.
