Eagles Studs And Duds: Week 2

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It was another error-less performance from Carson Wentz, who threw for 190 yards, 1 touchdown, and no interceptions as the Eagles beat the Bears 29-14 to get to 2-0.

It was an equally impressive performance for Doug Pederson, who called a beautiful and aggressive game that included an array of plays and a three-for-three fourth down conversion rate.

Here are the Week 2 Eagles studs and duds.

Duds

3. Fletcher Cox

Make no mistake about it, Fletcher Cox is the Eagles' best defensive player. He's not going to dominate every single game. Against the Bears, guard Kyle Long really took Cox out of the game. Cox finished with just two tackles and 1 QB hit.

2. Caleb Sturgis

Sturgis cramped up and missed an extra point. He also nailed a 53-yarder, but in a 29-14 win, that's enough to get you on the dud list as a kicker.

1. Josh Huff

Maybe it was a lack of opportunity, as Huff caught his only target for -1 yards, but he had no impact on the game whatsoever.

3. Allen Barbre

You might not notice him, but Barbre was dominant at guard for the Eagles on Monday night. In fact, Pro Football Focus graded Barbre as the league's third best guard in Week 2. As a team, the Eagles rushed for 100 yards on 32 carries and allowed just two sacks.

2. Trey Burton

Filling in for Zach Ertz, Burton caught five of his seven targets for 49 yards and a touchdown. Entering Monday night, Burton had just three career catches.

1. Brandon Graham

Graham is off to an excellent 2016 season and he was the Eagles' best defensive player on Monday night. Graham had four tackles, two tackles for a loss, a sack, and a QB hit against the Bears. Graham already has seven tackles (two stuffs), two sacks, and a forced fumble in two games.
