Eagles Special Teams Makes Another Big Play Recovering Fumble At Midfield
Ryan Mayer
The Eagles special teams have lived up to that name in the past two weeks. The team has gotten kick-off returns for touchdowns in each game and today against the Vikings, the punt coverage team made an impact play by recovering a Marcus Sherels fumble at midfield.
The play was set up by the Eagles getting a huge stop on 4th-and-1 at their own five yard line.
4th & 1. Deep in the red zone.

Three run plays later, the Birds sent Donnie Jones out to punt. He got away a decent kick from his own goal line, and his coverage team did the rest.
