Eagles Look For 4-0 Sunday In Detroit

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Eagles will be hoping to keep the good times rolling on Sunday when they visit the Detroit Lions.

The Birds are 3-0 and coming off their bye week. They sit alone in first place in the NFC East.

Detroit comes into Sunday with a 1-3 record but those three losses are by a combined total of 11 points.

The Eagles are quite healthy, only defensive tackle Bennie Logan is listed on the injury report. He is questionable for Sunday because of a calf issue.
These two teams met last season on Thanksgiving in Detroit and it was not pretty for the Birds. The Lions rolled 45-14 in a game that may not even have been that close. Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford took apart the Philadelphia secondary in that one, throwing for 337 yards and five
touchdowns. Three of the scores were caught by the now-retired Calvin Johnson.

The Eagles lead the all-time series between these two teams 17-14-2.

KYW's Matt Leon spoke with Brandon Lee Gowton of Philadelphia Magazine's "Birds 24/7" and Sportsradio 94 WIP's "BGN Radio" about what to look for in this one.
