Eagles Kicker Suffers Concussion, Hit With Punt While Not Wearing Helmet Pregame
PITTSBURGH, Pa. (CBS) -- Some bad luck befell Eagles kicker Caleb Sturgis on Thursday night. Sturgis, who is battling with kicker Cody Parkey for the Birds' kicking duties was ruled out of the team's second preseason game with a concussion.
The injury did not occur during the game. It took place before.
Injury Update: K Caleb Sturgis suffered a concussion during warmups. He will not play in tonight's game.

Sturgis was reportedly not wearing a helmet as players prepared for the game when he was hit in the head by a punt.
The Eagles took on the Steelers on Thursday night.
