Eagles Injury Update: Maxwell, Kendricks, Peters, Johnson Miss Practice
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Not only are the Eagles suffering from their abysmal 1-3 record, they are also suffering from injuries. The Eagles practiced without pads on Tuesday in preparation for their Week 5 game on Sunday at home against the 1-3 New Orleans Saints.
Before practice, defensive coordinator Billy Davis addressed the media, providing updates on the injured Eagles.
Defense:
Missed Tuesday's practice
- LB Mychal Kendricks (hamstring),
- CB Byron Maxwell (quad)
- DL Brandon Bair (groin)
- LB DeMeco Ryans (undisclosed)
Kendricks, Maxwell, and Bair left Sunday's game early. Likely, just a day of rest for Ryans.
Returned to practice
- DL Cedric Thornton (hand)
- DL Taylor Hart (shoulder)
- S Chris Maragos (quad)
All three of these players missed Sunday's game and returned to practice on Tuesday. Thorton and Hart are expected to play on Sunday, while Bair is not.
Bill Davis said that he thinks Cedric Thornton and Taylor Hart are OK. Doesn't expect Brandon Bair (groin) for Sunday. #Eagles
