Eagles Host Steelers In Third Preseason Game

By Matt Leon

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- The Eagles will play their first home preseason game of the summer tonight as they welcome the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Linc.

The Birds are 0-2 this preseason. They lost on the road in Chicago on August 8th, 34-28, and then dropped a 42-35 decision to the Patriots last week up in New England.

While Chip Kelly didn't specifically spell out how long the starters will play tonight, the third game is traditionally the preseason game which most resembles a regular season game, with starters often playing into the second half.

The Steelers split their first two preseason games, losing on the road to the Giants and beating Buffalo at home.

KYW's Matt Leon spoke with Ray Didinger of Comcast Sportsnet to find out what he's looking for tonight.
