Eagles Fans Compete For Chance To Kick $10,000 Game Day Field Goal
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Over 40 Philadelphia Eagles fans will compete for a dream opportunity to attempt a game day field goal.
The field-goal attempt will take place during the halftime of the Eagles' November 22nd Week 11 home game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A successful field goal attempt will win the fan $10,000 and earn an additional $10,000 in donations for a school of the winner's choice.
On Thursday, November 5th, fans will participate in the "Santander Field Goal Challenge" try outs at the NovaCare Complex until one finalist remains. The finalist will attempt the game day field on November 22nd.
Eagles kicker Cody Parkey, Eagles cheerleaders, and Santander VP and Regional President for New Jersey Central and Pennsylvania Angelo Moultrie will be in attendance for the try outs, which begin at 6:00 p.m. E.T.
