Molk, 27, was scheduled to be a restricted free agent.
This news comes just months after Molk was suspected to be "Johnny Anonymous," -- the anonymous player who loathes the NFL, expressed in the book NFL Confidential: True Confessions from the Bowels of Football.
Molk was a 2012 seventh-round pick of the San Diego Chargers and joined the Eagles in 2014.
