Police Arrest Drunk N.J. Man Who Passed Out With Truck In Drive

CAPE MAY COUNTY, N.J. (CBS)—A North Cape May was arrested after police found him unresponsive with his truck in drive, resting against a curb.

Lower Township police were on patrol Thursday near Bayshore Road in North Cape May when they encountered 31-year-old Justin C. Stansbury passed out inside his truck with his gear left in drive.

"The vehicle was resting against a parking curb, which was the only thing keeping it from traveling forward and potentially impacting the nearby stores," police said in a news release.

Officers did recover nine empty bags of suspected heroin and a hypodermic needle during the investigation.

Stansbury was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a hypodermic needle and driving while intoxicated.
