Another accident was causing delays along I-95 southbound just South of Business 1.

Earlier in the day officials announced speed restrictions as motorists traveled over the Delaware River bridges along the entire New Jersey Turnpike.

Numerous accidents were being reported as the snow fell, including a nine-vehicle crash on the Devon Park Drive ramp to westbound Route 422 in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County.

Officials want to remind drivers who have to be on the road to allow extra time and to take it easy, and to keep a safe distance from any plows or salt trucks.
