Driver Killed After Losing Control Of Vehicle, Crashing Into Pole In Bustleton, Police Say

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)-- Philadelphia Police believe speed may have led to a crash that killed one person. The crash happened near Norwalk Road on the 9900 block of Bustleton Avenue just after 11:50 p.m. Saturday.

Investigators say 23-year-old Oleksandr Lysenko lost control and hit a utility pole, splitting that pole in two.

The driver was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Two other passengers were transported to an area hospital where the rear passenger is in critical condition.
