Driver Killed, 2 Teens Seriously Hurt In Pleasantville Crash

PLEASANTVILLE, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a single-vehicle crash in southern New Jersey has left the driver dead and two teenage passengers seriously injured.

Pleasantville police say the crash occurred around 5:15 a.m. Saturday near the Orchards condominium complex. All three people in the car were Atlantic City residents, but their names have not been released.

The 18-year-old man driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene. His two passengers, ages 16 and 17, were being treated at hospitals for undisclosed injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
