Driver Dies In Crash At NJ Speedway

WALL, N.J. (AP) — A driver has been killed in a crash at Wall Stadium Speedway.

New Jersey state police say the crash occurred during a race clinic Saturday at about 12:30 p.m. The driver, identified as a 21-year-old woman, was operating a three-quarter midget car when it struck a wall.

The woman's name hasn't been released pending notification of family.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The track, which is located at the New Jersey shore, said on its website that it had canceled its race schedule for Saturday night.
