Dozens Gather To Remember Man Killed While Walking Dog In North Philadelphia Hit-And-Run

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Emotions were on full display outside of The Met Philadelphia on Friday night. Dozens gathered to remember employee Michael Canals.

Canals was hit by a car on Saturday and killed while walking his dog on West Berks Street in North Philadelphia.

His dog died too.

The driver who hit them still has not been arrested.

Police describe the vehicle as a dark green Pontiac minivan with a partial license plate of K-Z-G.
