Donald Trump Postpones VP Announcement In Light Of Attack In France

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump was expected to announced his pick for vice president on Friday in a news conference. On Thursday afternoon, he announced that he would be postponing the announcement.

Trump made the decision to postpone the announcement after a truck slammed into a crowd of people celebrating Bastille Day in France, according to reports.

Earlier in the day, CBS News reported that Trump made his decision and selected Indiana governor Mike Pence to be his running-mate, over New Jersey governor Chris Christie.
