Domino's Testing Out Pizza Delivery Via Reindeer

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Domino's is trying to find the best way to deliver pizzas to their hungry customers in anticipation of a snowy winter season and it seems they're taking advice from thee delivery expert -- Santa.

According to a press release, the pizza chain is currently testing out pizza delivery via reindeers in Japan. They're using animals from a reindeer ranch in Hokkaido.

As with current delivery methods, customers will be able to track the reindeer's progress in real-time using Domino's online GPS tracker.

No word yet on whether US Domino's customers can expect a reindeer at their door anytime soon.

The company says they are working on a number of delivery methods in countries across the world.
