Wyoming Man Charged After DNA Found On Sandwich At Burglary Scene

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — A Wyoming man is charged with three counts of burglary after police matched his DNA to a partially eaten peanut butter and jelly sandwich left at the scene of the break-ins.

KTWO-AM reports 25-year-old Zachary Munoz made an initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Wednesday. His bail was set at $5,000 and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 1.

Prosecutors allege Munoz broke into 4 Rivers Equipment on three separate occasions in early September and stole thousands of dollars with of power tools.
