PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - On today's APP-tastic and outta SITE - Dirt Search.
Curious about whether a person you met is on the up and up? Dirt Search is a free app that lets you search public records and do a criminal background check on someone.
Just enter their name and the state and the app goes to work. It's not instant - and you'll have to double check on common names, but it can be a good way to send up a red flag - especially on a blind date.
