Dez Bryant, Randy Gregory Out 4-6 Weeks For Cowboys

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Cowboys star wide receiver Dez Bryant is expected to miss four to six weeks, after breaking a bone in his right foot during Sunday night's game against the Giants.

Bryant, who hurt his foot in the third quarter of a 27-26 Cowboys win, will need surgery according to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. The surgery is reportedly expected to happen on Tuesday.

"Dez Bryant's a great player," coach Jason Garrett said. "He's one of the best players we have and one of the best in the league and he makes a huge difference for us.

"Sometimes, those guys aren't available to you, so the next guy has to go in there and play, and everyone has to do their job."

Furthermore, Cowboys rookie defensive end Randy Gregory will also be out four to six weeks, after spraining his ankle on Sunday night according to Clarence Hill of the Star-Telegram

Gregory had played 21 of 38 snaps prior to the injury in his first NFL game.

The Eagles host the Cowboys on Sunday, September 20th at 4:25 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field.
