Devon Still Provides Encouraging News About Daughter Leah

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Four-year-old Leah Still, the daughter of Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle and former Penn State Nittany Lion Devon Still, and her fight against pediatric cancer has become the feel-good sports story around the country.

On Tuesday night, Still posted on his Instagram that the doctors did not see any "disease in her body."

"That moment you get the best news you've ever received and don't know what to do so you just flex!! We got Leah's MIBG Scans back tonight and the doctors told us they didn't see any active disease in her body!!! We still have to wait for her MRI and bone biopsy results later this week. But the doctors feel very optimistic about them because of the results from today. So for now we celebrate!! #LeahStrong #PrayersWork #ThankYouEveryOne #ImSoHappyIFeelNumb #BeatCancer"

Leah, who receives treatment at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, was recently honored during before the Sixers-Warriors game on February, 9th.

Back in September, the Bengals announced all Devon Still jersey proceeds would go towards the Cincinnati Children's Hospital and pediatric cancer research. Last November, the Bengals donated $1.25 million as part of the fundraising effort.
