Watch: DeSean Jackson Shows Lack Of Effort At Pylon

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- DeSean Jackson has Washington football fans dealing with the same confusion that Philadelphia Eagles' dealt with: The dichotomy between the player and the person.

The lack of effort exhibited by the 29-year-old receiver -- who had two catches for 17 yards -- in Sunday's NFC Wildcard game, highlights many of reasons why folks in D.C. are debating about whether the team should keep him or not.

Here is the play where Jackson comes up short of the pylon.

"'Do you want DeSean back next year?" is such a tough one," BarstoolSports.com's Washington D.C. blogger writes. "There's no denying he's a good football player. A game changer. I'm pretty sure I read that he has more 40+ yard catches than any player over the last 5 years. But his attitude generally sucks, he was the only player not at OTAs, which led him to coming into camp out of shape, which possibly led to him pulling his hamstring in the opening week."

Jackson has a 2016 cap hit of $9.25 million. If released, Washington will save $3 million on their salary cap.
