Threats Against Several Schools In New Jersey, Pennsylvania Lead To Arrests

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Safety from violence is on the minds of many in the wake of the deadly Florida school shooting as threats against several schools in Pennsylvania and New Jersey have led to arrests this week.

West Deptford police arrested a 15-year-old resident Friday who allegedly threatened on social media to "shoot up" West Deptford High School

A 12-year-old was arrested by Vineland police at Rossi Middle School on Wednesday after authorities say the child caused a "false public alarm."

Philadelphia police have tracked down the suspect accused of posting a message threatening Roman Catholic High School.

Deptford High School and Gloucester County Institute of Technology were the targets of an alleged school shooting threat made last week.

Deptford Township police say they've identified the source of that threat.
