DelVal Visits Muhlenberg Saturday In Centennial-MAC Bowl Series

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The season will wrap up for the Division III Delaware Valley University football team on Saturday as they Aggies visit Muhlenberg as part of the second annual Centennial-MAC Bowl Series.

DelVal was once again one of the top teams in the region, going 8-2 and wrapping up the regular season last week with an impressive 45-7 win over rival Widener.

"8-2 is a solid season and I'm really proud of our seniors," DelVal head coach Duke Greco tells KYW Newsradio. "I know, as a team, we're disappointed we're not in the NCAA Playoffs but another postseason game to honor our seniors, represent the program is a big plus here."

The Aggies average 35.9 points with sophomore quarterback Dashawn Darden leading the way. The Cardinal O'Hara product has thrown for 1,793 yards and 16 touchdowns with just seven interceptions. Darden has also rushed for 435 yards and eight more scores.
