DelDOT Approves Uber To Operate In Delaware

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Uber has received the green light to start picking up passengers in Delaware.

All it takes is an app on your smartphone to hail one of the cars.

The car service agreed to some rules with the state's department of transportation including background checks and driving history checks on drivers.

Uber is still illegal in Philadelphia, and the city has impounded some drivers' cars.
