WAYNE, Pa. (CBS) -- A Chester County man has been charged with multiple counts of possessing child pornography and related crimes.

Tredyffrin Township police arrested 34-year-old Max Lamping, of Abrams Court in Wayne, Pa., this morning.

Police say an investigation by the FBI and Chester County detectives led them to Lamping, a German national.  Multiple warrants were served at his home last night, and detectives turned up multiple electronic devices with dozens of images of child porn.

The charges include 50 counts of sexual abuse of children and one count of criminal use of communications facilities, all of which are felonies.

Lamping was arraigned and released after payment of 10 percent of his $100,000 bail.  A preliminary hearing is scheduled for next Friday, April 3rd.
