MAGNOLIA, Del. (CBS) -- Police in Delaware are searching for a teen who hasn't been seen since he went missing on Thanksgiving.

The Delaware State Police has issued a Gold Alert for Aaron W. Monroe, 19, of Magnolia, Delaware.

Investigators say Monroe hasn't been heard from since approximately 3:00 p.m. Thursday when he left his home.

The Delaware State Police said Monroe may be operating a black 1995 Mazda Miata convertible with Delaware registration 351536.

There is a concern for Monroe's safety and welfare as Troopers have been unable to make contact with him to check on his welfare and attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful.

Anyone with any information on Monroe's whereabouts is urged to call Troop 3 at 302-697-4454 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
