Delaware Senate Approves Democratic Proposal To Outlaw High-Capacity Magazines, Gun Safety Bills

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) -- The Delaware Senate has approved a Democratic proposal to outlaw high-capacity magazines.

The Senate has also signed off on requiring anyone wanting to buy a handgun to first take a training course, be fingerprinted and obtain a permit.

The bills, which passed the Senate with no GOP support, now go to the Democrat-led House for consideration.
