Multiple People Injured In Crash In Delaware

MIDDLETOWN, Del. (CBS) -- Multiple people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Delaware on Thursday afternoon.

Delaware State Police say the crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Route 1 southbound in the area of Biddles Toll Plaza in Middletown.

Multiple vehicles and an overturned tractor trailer were involved in the crash.

It is not known how many people were injured.

The northbound and southbound EZ Pass lanes at the toll plaza have been closed to traffic.

Police are investigating the crash.
