DA: Delaware County Fire Company Members Face Theft Charges
MEDIA, Pa. (AP) — Three members of a suburban Philadelphia fire company have been charged in the theft of more than $50,000 from the organization.
The Delaware County district attorneys' office on Monday announced charges against the Colwyn borough fire chief and the fire company's president and treasurer.
Forty-nine-year-old Gary Brice, the fire chief, 50-year-old Elizabeth Cellini, the president, and her 26-year-old daughter Lauren Cellini, the treasurer, face charges of conspiracy on multiple fire counts and receiving stolen property.
Authorities allege that the three wrote themselves checks and made cash withdrawals.
Court documents don't list attorneys for the defendants who could respond to the charges, and listed numbers for them couldn't be found Monday.
